Harmony Co-op converts to 75+% LED lighting

We are excited to announce our conversion from T-8/CFL lamps (energy saving, high efficiency lights) to 75% LED in February 2018. We have used the T-8/CFL lights since we moved to our current location in 2011, and have been waiting to use their complete lifespan to make the switch to LED. Harmony strives to promote and restore healthful, sustainable, environmental practices by reducing the environmental footprint of our daily operations. Converting to LED is a large way to reduce our electric impact and brings us one step further in our commitment to the Earth It is an exciting time to be a part of the Bemidji Community, seeing so many folks contribute to this conversion and all the hard work done by our sustainability committee to bring this dream to fruition. Partial funding for this project was provided by Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs).

Stay tuned for more information.
